You have probably heard by now, that Pope Benedict XVI has resigned as our Pope.
This is a virtually unprecended, but very couregeous decision that he has made. It was just almost 8 years ago when he was elected, and he has served the Church faithfully.
I stumbled across this article this morning in America Magazine about the papal transition, and thought that you might find it helpful as you are discussing this transition in your families, so wanted to share it.
